When I was 14 years old, my Grandmother taught me how to make jam in her kitchen in Scotland. She had grown up on a farm in Ireland and made jam her whole life, perfecting her recipe over the years. I was fascinated and soon started making it myself, selling jars door-to-door in the neighbourhood.
Before long, I had a stand at the local Farmers’ Market in Edinburgh and started making deliveries to local stores on my bicycle. I came up with an idea to make jam 100% from fruit – without adding any sugar or anything artificial; ‘SuperJam’ was born.Now on sale in thousands of premium stores throughout the world, SuperJam is even exhibited in the National Museum of Scotland as an ‘Iconic Scottish Brand’.
Millions of people have enjoyed my Gran’s and my recipes over the years. Hugely popular in South Korea and the subject of a TV drama in Japan, I’d like to invite you to become a part of the next chapter.
